Mercury Prize-nominated artist Loyle Carner has announced details of his fourth album, Hopefully!, which will be released on June 20th, 2025, through Island EMI.

Earlier this month, Carner previewed the new record with his alternative rock-influenced singles ‘All I Need’ and ‘In My Mind’. This marked his first release since his acclaimed 2022 album, Hugo, which landed at number three in the UK chart.

Notably, the release of Hopefully! comes a week before with Carner’s return to the Glastonbury Festival this summer. The South London rapper will headline the Other Stage on June 27th after previously topping the bill on the West Holts Stage in 2023.

During a recent interview on BBC 6 Music, Carner explained how his son, who appears on the album artwork alongside him, was by his side for the entirety of the recording process, revealing, “My son is always there. I guess, I was the first one of my friends to have kids, I think, so he kind of became like a mainstay.”

Carner continued: “You don’t really see me without him being there, you know. He comes on tour with us a lot, has his own bunk, and comes to the studio a lot. But, I think that’s what is so nice about it, he sees it as play, and it’s helped me with all the music, to see it for what it is, and I used to take it so serious. It means a lot to me, you know, but it’s not serious. It’s a joy to get to do this for my life’s work.”

In addition to releasing Hopefully! in June, Carner will embark on a world tour later this year, which begins with a jaunt through mainland Europe in October. He’ll then headline four nights at O2 Academy Brixton, three at Glasgow O2 Academy, two at Birmingham O2 Academy, two at Newcastle O2 City Hall, and three at Manchester’s O2 Victoria Warehouse.

Carner will wrap up 2025 with a headline tour in Australia before heading out to North America in early 2026 for another series of shows.
