Apple TV+ has released the newest trailer for Guy Ritchie’s latest action offering, Fountain of Youth, starring John Krasinski and Natalie Portman.
Fountain of Youth follows two estranged siblings who partner on a global heist to find the mythological Fountain of Youth.
“They must use their knowledge of history to follow clues on an epic adventure that will change their lives … and possibly lead to immortality,” reads the official synopsis.
With the glamorous series of globe-trotting set pieces on offer in this trailer, The Gentleman director seems to be honing in on the American action genre for this latest project.
Stanley Tucci also appears in the trailer. Tucci was praised for his recent role in Conclave, which has seen a wild resurgence in popularity since the passing of Pope Francis.
The supporting cast also includes Eiza González, Domhnall Gleeson, Arian Moayed, Laz Alonso, and Carmen Ejogo.
Last year, Ritchie said of the movie’s main character to Entertainment Weekly: “They both come from a background of archeological endeavours in terms of finding archeological artefacts, so there’s a history there.”
“They are estranged, but they find an alibi as to why they need to unify to find this particular treasure,” the director continued.
He also explained how the film marked his growth as a director by stepping away from his traditional gangster setting, noting, “At some point, I thought, you have to spread your wings as a writer-director.”
Fountain of Youth will premiere on May 23rd 2025, exclusively on Apple TV+.
